We have more than 52 pop up centres that we are currently operating our courses from. Few of the courses can also be learned online from your home and exam can also be taken online regardless of your location.  We are allowed to run SIA Authorised course from anywhere in the UK. 

Our courses normally starts from Monday and end accordingly. Upon booking, we will organise your placement to our nearest centre from your location.

Level 2 Award for Door Supervisors – Top-Up

We now offer the Level 2 Award for Door Supervisors operating within the private security Industry.

This is a top-up award course that lasts 2 days.

The course can be taken with or without First-Aid training. Simple choose weather to include on registration.

 

Unit 1: Principles of Terror Threat Awareness in the Private Security Industry

  • Understanding terror threats and the role of the security operative in the event of a threat
  • How to recognise the common terror attack methods
  • How to recognise the actions to take in the event of a terror threat
  • How to identify the procedures for dealing with suspicious items
  • How to identify behaviours that could indicate suspicious activity
  • How to identify how to respond to suspicious behaviour

 

Unit 2: Principles of Using Equipment as a Door Supervisor in the Private Security Industry

  • Learn and understand government guidance in relation to global (or critical) incidents, including:
      • Learn to recognise the different types of personal protective equipment relevant to the role of a door supervisor
      • Understand the purpose of using body-worn cameras (BWC)
      • Understand and practice how to communicate effectively using relevant equipment
      • Understand and practice the effective use of communication devices
      • Learn and understand what actions to take in relation to global (or critical) incidents
    • Lear and understand government guidance in relation to global (or critical) incidents

 

Unit 3 : Application of physical intervention skills in the private security industry

  • Understand physical interventions and the implications of their use
  • Understand the risks associated with using physical intervention
  • Understand how to reduce the risks associated with physical intervention
  • Be able to use physical skills to protect yourself and others
  • Be able to use non-pain compliant standing, holding and escorting techniques
