What Are the Entry Requirements for the Level 3: SIA Trainer Course?
To be eligible for this course, you must have a minimum of 2 years of experience within the security industry.
What Is the Timeline for Submitting the Portfolio?
After the training days for the class-based and Zoom classes, you will have 3 weeks to submit your portfolio. However, if you complete it early and meet all the requirements, you may receive your certificate in a shorter timeframe.
Can I Record My Micro-Teach Session Instead of Conducting It in Person?
You can record your micro-teach session and submit it to us using a memory stick. Alternatively, you can use video conferencing technologies such as Zoom, Skype, or Cisco WebEx to deliver and record your teaching session.
Is There a Formal Examination for This Course?
No formal examination is required for the Level 3: SIA Trainer Course. Instead, as part of the assessment process, you must submit a portfolio at the end of the course.
